According to Presidential Office Spokesperson Lin He-ming (林鶴明), President Tsai Ing-wen was shocked and saddened by news of the terror attack that led to multiple casualties and injuries near the Houses of Parliament in central London on the afternoon of March 22 (local time). President Tsai immediately asked National Security Council Secretary-General Joseph Wu (吳釗燮) to contact British Representative Catherine Nettleton to express the deepest concern of the people of Taiwan, and our most sincere condolences and sympathies to the victims and their families.
