<p>Accompanied by King Mswati III, members of the royal family, and Eswatini cabinet officials, the president tours the exhibitions and various facilities at the center.</p> <p>That afternoon, President Lai proceeds to the ICC. Upon his arrival, he enjoys a traditional music and dance performance held to welcome him.<br />  </p> <p>President Lai first calls upon the queen mother at the royal palace.</p> <p>At noon on May 3 (evening of the same day Taipei time) during his state visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini, President Lai Ching-te meets with Her Majesty Queen Mother Ntombi Tfwala. Accompanied by His Majesty King Mswati III, President Lai also visits Eswatini's International Convention Centre (ICC).</p>

<p>The president extends warm greetings to the staff and families of the embassy and technical mission who have gathered to welcome him.</p> <p>After alighting from the plane, President Lai is received by Prime Minister Russell Dlamini and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Pholile Shakantu, who accompany the president as he receives military honors.</p> <p>On May 2, President Lai Ching-te departs for Eswatini for a state visit at the invitation of His Majesty King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini. The delegation arrives successfully at 9:00 am local time.</p>
