After finishing her visit to the Presidential Palace of Paraguay at 11:30 a.m. local time on June 28 (11:30 p.m. June 28 Taipei time), President Tsai Ing-wen proceeded to the National Congress of Paraguay to deliver an address before a joint session of the Paraguayan Senate and Chamber of Deputies.

The president learned more about the developmental achievements of Taiwanese industries in Panama, and praised Evergreen Group's CCT as an extension of the power of the Taiwanese people and a source of their pride.

President Tsai Ing-wen departed on Friday, June 24 at 9:00 a.m. (Taipei time) to visit diplomatic allies Panama and Paraguay. In remarks delivered over the aircraft's public address system, the president thanked government colleagues and the China Airlines crew members for their hard work in making the trip happen, and expressed hope for a smooth and successful trip that will bring worldwide attention to Taiwan.

President Tsai Ing-wen departed Taiwan on the morning of June 24 to travel to diplomatic allies Panama and Paraguay. In remarks issued before boarding the aircraft, the president said she brings with her the strong desire of the people of Taiwan to be more active in the international community, and will set off on a trip of "steadfast diplomacy based on building mutually beneficial relationships." The government's determination to advance Taiwan's diplomacy will be evident for all citizens to see, she said.
