Upon leaving Grenada, I wish to express, on behalf of my wife and other members of the delegation, our sincere thanks and appreciation for the many courtesies and generous hospitality extended to us by the Government and people of Grenada during our stay in this very beautiful country.

I am very honoured to have the opportunity of exchanging views with His Excellency Governor General Sir Daniel Williams, the Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell and other high ranking officials of the Grenadian Government on matters of common concern to our two nations. I am confident that the meetings will pave the way for further cooperation and stronger partnership between our two countries. Moreover, I have extended an invitation to Prime Minister Mitchell to visit the Republic of China in the near future.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Grenada. I will bring back to Taipei the warm friendship and reception I have experienced during my stay here. Thank you very much.
