Mr. Chen Che-nan, Acting Secretary-General to the President, said today that President Chen Shui-bian had approved the letters of appointment for the twenty-five members of the Supra-party Task Force during his state visit abroad. The document was faxed to President Chen during his stopover in Los Angeles, and was faxed back to the Presidential Office after approval by President Chen. This shows that President Chen's state visit will not adversely affect state affairs.
