President Chen Presents President of Paraguay's Chamber of Deputies, Benjamin Maciel Pasotti with the Order of Brilliant Star with Special Grand Cordon
Taipei, Nov. 26 (CNA) President Chen Shui-bian presented a decoration Wednesday to visiting President of Paraguay's Chamber of Deputies, Benjamin Maciel Pasotti, to honor his contributions to bilateral ties.
After presenting him with the Order of Brilliant Star with Special Grand Cordon, President Chen welcomed Pasotti and his delegation to Taiwan, and thanks Paraguay's firm support for Taiwan, not least its speaking out for Taiwan's efforts to join the United Nations at the UN Assembly this year.
