Taipei, Nov. 28 (CNA) The Lions Clubs International's slogan "innovation of service" as advocated by its president, Dr. Tae-Sup Lee, is also what the country's leaders need to provide a bright future for the country, President Chen Shui-bian said Friday.
Speaking at the 42nd Orient and Southeast Asian Lions Forum in Linkou, Taipei County, Chen said through its clubs in 191 countries during its 80-year history, the Lions have set an excellent example for how private groups can serve their communities.
