Taipei, Feb. 25 (CNA) President Chen Shui-bian presided over a ceremony Wednesday in Puli township, central Nantou County to kick off construction of the Nantou section of the National Expressway No. 6.
Chen encouraged workers to complete the task on schedule and said that the completion of the project would be a boon, as it is expected to create more than 10,000 job opportunities for nearby townships and areas.
