Taipei, March 10 (CNA) The Taipei International Cycle Show opened Wednesday at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition, with a theme of "Think Bicycle, Think Taiwan."
The exhibition was inaugurated by Vice President Annette Lu, who said during the opening ceremony that Taiwan's cycle industry, once regarded as a sunset industry, has been transformed into a value-added one due to R&D and the use of hi-tech skills.
Furthermore, because of the global environment consciousness, the outlook for the industry is rosy, she added.
