President Chen Unveils World Waters Explorers of National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium
2006-04-28

On April 28, President Chen Shui-bian attended the opening ceremony for the "World Waters Explorers" exhibition hall of the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium in Pingtung County, southern Taiwan. The president praised the new exhibition hall for its largest virtual exhibition room in the world.

The president said in his remarks delivered at the ceremony that the "World Waters Explorers" is one of the best examples of Building-Operation-Transfer (BOT) projects conducted by the government, adding that the "Taipei 101 BOT project," undertaken when he was the mayor of Taipei, was another success.

The president hoped that, together with the other two exhibition halls, "Waters of Taiwan" and "Coral Kingdom Pavilion," the World Water Explores will bring all Taiwan's citizens a COOL summertime.
