On June 28 at the Office of the President, President Chen Shui-bian, on behalf of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and its 23 million citizens, accorded a military farewell with a 21-gun salute to Dominican Republic President Leonel Antonio Fernandez Reyna, Mrs. Fernandez, and the Dominican Republic delegation.
