President Chen receives Visiting Honduras National Congress Speaker Porfirio Lobo Sosa
Taipei, Dec. 11 (CNA) President Chen Shui-bian received visiting Honduras National Congress Speaker Porfirio Lobo Sosa and his parliamentary delegation Wednesday at the Presidential Office.
During the meeting, Chen reiterated the Republic of China's friendship toward Honduras and expressed the hope that the two nations will further strengthen their relationship.
Chen also thanked Honduras for the support it has extended to the ROC in the international community, particularly for Taiwan's bids to join the United Nations and other international organizations.
