Taipei, Sept. 29 (CNA) Republic of China first lady Wu Shu-jen returned to Taipei late Sunday evening, concluding her 11-day, three-city private visit to the United States.
She was greeted at the airport by scores of government leaders, including President Chen Shui-bian, Vice President Annette Lu, Premier Yu Shyi-kun, President Wang Jin-pyng of the Legislative Yuan, Foreign Minister Eugene Chien, and Secretary General Chang Chun-hsiung of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party.
