Office of the President responds to terror attack in Orlando, Florida
Commenting on the terror attack in Orlando, Florida that resulted in mass casualties, Presidential Office Spokesperson Huang Chung-yen (黃重諺) stated that President Tsai Ing-wen became very concerned upon learning of the attack. The president asked National Security Council Secretary-General Joseph Wu (吳釗燮) to convey to American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Taipei Office Director Kin Moy the deepest condolences and support of the Taiwanese people. Mr. Huang added that, besides condemning in the strongest possible terms this barbaric act of terror, Secretary-General Wu also relayed the president's condolences to the victims' families.
