Secretary-General Wu conveys President Tsai's concern to UK after terror attack on London underground
Numerous people were injured in London earlier today (September 15) following an explosion on an underground train, in what has been termed a terrorist attack. Secretary-General to the President Joseph Wu (吳釗燮), acting early this evening on behalf of President Tsai Ing-wen, contacted Acting Representative Andrew Pittam of the British Office Taipei to express the president's condolences to the victims and wish them a speedy recovery. He also conveyed the president's concern to the people of the United Kingdom. The people of Taiwan are keeping the UK in their thoughts, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them in united opposition to terrorist violence and threats.
