Vice President Lu Receives 'Moral Re-armament' Volunteers
Taipei, April 11 (CNA) Vice President Annette Lu praised a group of visiting international volunteers Thursday for their dedication to "moral re-armament," adding that they are "lucky" to be able to learn and experience more through volunteering than through the classroom.
Lu said that morals bring human society together and noted that she has always promoted such "soft" national powers as human rights, democracy, peace, love and high technology.
The group of six Moral Re-Armament Association "Action for Life" volunteers come from Australia, Lebanon, Moldova, New Zealand, South Africa and South Korea.
