In response to the passing of Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini, Prime Minister of Taiwan's diplomatic ally the Kingdom of Eswatini, Presidential Office Spokesperson Xavier Chang (張惇涵) stated that President Tsai Ing-wen expressed her deepest condolences. After hearing the news, President Tsai instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the Kingdom of Eswatini to extend our sympathies to the people and government of Eswatini on behalf of her and the government of Taiwan. The president greatly appreciates Prime Minister Dlamini's staunch support for Taiwan's international participation and recognized him as a political leader worthy of respect. She hopes that Prime Minister Dlamini will rest in peace and that his family take care.
