President Tsai sends condolences to Israel following Mount Meron accident
In response to a deadly accident that occurred at Mount Meron, Israel, on April 30, Presidential Office Spokesperson Xavier Chang (張惇涵) said that after learning of the incident, President Tsai Ing-wen immediately instructed Foreign Minister Joseph Wu (吳釗燮) to call Representative Omer Caspi of the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei to convey the sincere condolences of the government and people of Taiwan. We hope the deceased rest in peace and the injured make a prompt recovery. The people of Taiwan stand with the people of Israel at this difficult time.
