Taipei, March 25 (CNA) Vice President Annette Lu expressed hope Monday that she will be able to visit her alma mater, Harvard University, in the near future.
The vice president made the remark when receiving a 16-member delegation of the prestigious university's law school at the Presidential Office.
Lu praised the university's characteristics of openness, liberalism and globalization, saying that receiving education under these circumstances, the potential ability and creativity of students can be easily sparked.
Lu obtained her masters degree from Harvard University Law School in 1978, a qualification Lu said has served her well.
