Taipei, Dec. 28 (CNA) President Chen Shui-bian and Vice President Annette Lu wish the people of the Republic of China a happy new year in separate electronic greeting cards posted on this Office's Web site.
According to the Presidential Public Affairs Office, the president and his wife also encourage the people to work together for Taiwan's growth and to create even more miracles.
Meanwhile, the vice president's greeting encourages the public to "treasure the present and innovate the future" while wishing for "love and peace" for all.
