ROC First Lady Honored by Czech President
Taipei, Nov. 16 (CNA) Republic of China first lady Wu Shu-jen was honored by Czech President Vaclav Havel and his wife Friday.
Wu and her entourage arrived in Prague Thursday for a two-day visit at the invitation of the Havels.
During a lunch party, Wu thanked her hosts for their cordial treatment to her and her entourage.
Although the two countries are distant in geography, she said that the friendship of the peoples of the two countries is close and deep. Wu invited Havel and his wife to visit Taipei.
