Taipei, June 19 (CNA) Vice President Annette Lu was hospitalized Monday for acute muscle spasm, the Presidential Office's Public Affairs Department said Tuesday. 

Lu felt uncomfortable, went to the National Taiwan University Hospital and diagnosed as suffering from acute muscle spasm, probably as a result of stress. Doctors suggested that Lu stay in hospital to recuperate.
