Presidential Office thanks White House National Security Council Spokesperson for supporting Taiwan
On January 8 Presidential Office Spokesperson Sidney Lin (林鶴明) thanked White House National Security Council Spokesman Garrett Marquis for expressing support for Taiwan.
The United States is Taiwan's most important ally in the international community. Sustained and healthy Taiwan-US relations and a stable Asia-Pacific region are essential for all parties within the region, including Taiwan and the United States. As a member of the international community, Taiwan will continue to cooperate closely with the United States government to develop a more solid partnership so that together, we can contribute to regional peace, stability, and well-being.
