President Tsai accompanies Marshall Islands President Heine to Chimei Museum

At noon on July 31, President Tsai Ing-wen accompanied Marshall Islands President Hilda C. Heine to the Chimei Museum in Tainan City in southern Taiwan.

Upon their arrival, Chimei Museum Director Liao Ching-Siang (廖錦祥) accompanied the two presidents to see the stringed-instrument collection. The items in the collection were introduced by collection curator Mr. Dai-Ting Chung (鍾岱廷) and musician Ms. Bonnie Lin (林佳霖). They then toured the museum's Fine Arts hall. The visitors were very impressed by the violin and Western art collections.

Minister Without Portfolio Wu Tsung-Tsong (吳政忠), Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Wu (吳釗燮), Tainan City Acting Mayor Li Men-yen (李孟諺), and Chimei Frozen Food Co., Ltd. Chairman Richard Soong (宋光夫) also accompanied the visitors on the tour.
