She also welcomed the traveling press corps to inform the world about the achievements of the trip through their news reports, and work together for Taiwan.

During this trip, she said, the delegation will fly 43,235 kilometers along a route through both the northern and southern hemispheres. Along the way, there will be stops in Los Angeles, Paraguay, Belize, and Houston. In all, she said, the delegation will visit four cities in three different countries.

President Tsai said that the most important objective of this trip is to attend the inauguration of Paraguay's President-elect Mario Abdo Benitez. After that, she said, the delegation will visit Belize. During stopovers in the United States, she said, they will also meet with many friends both old and new to exchange thoughts and opinions on the international situation.

President Tsai took the opportunity to thank everyone who helped make arrangements for the trip, and welcomed the members of the traveling press corps to bring the trip's achievements to a wider audience through their reporting.

In closing, President Tsai thanked the China Airlines crew members for their thoughtful preparations.
