President Tsai's delegation arrives in St. Christopher and Nevis for state visit

On the evening of July 13 local time (morning of July 14 Taipei time), President Tsai Ing-wen concluded her visit to Haiti and departed for St. Christopher and Nevis on her Journey of Freedom, Democracy, and Sustainability. She arrived with her delegation at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in St. Christopher and Nevis after a two-hour flight.

After the delegation's chartered plane came to a stop, Taiwan's ambassador to St. Christopher and Nevis Tom Lee (李志強), and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kaye Bass boarded the plane to welcome the president. Prime Minister Timothy Harris then welcomed her at the bottom of the airstair. After shaking hands and exchanging greetings, they ascended a dais to receive military honors.

President Tsai, accompanied by Prime Minister Harris, reviewed the military honor guard, after which they proceeded to the reviewing area for mutual introductions. President Tsai greeted embassy personnel and their families, and representatives from the Taiwan expatriate community, in a receiving line, and then proceeded to her hotel.
